The lines are long and short so they represent that some people are long while some are short at the same time some people are normal size. The colour of some parts is grey while the others are white because it represents that people are different colours.

I really like how you've considered peoples' differences and diversity when designing your siapo. Would you have any other patterns on your tapa cloth or would the whole piece be covered in this particular design?
